My story

The educator behind the investor.

I have spent much of my working life helping people understand complicated things. Finance is a continuation of that work.

Alongside seven years in the markets as an investor and trader, I bring nearly a decade of experience in education and EdTech. My work spanned community building, content and learning strategy, including roles as Chief Community Manager at BYJU’S Exam Prep and Content Head at Study24x7, alongside work with Pratham. I also built and operated Eazyprep, an online exam-preparation platform.

That experience shaped how I think about investing: the explanation should be as clear as the analysis. A conclusion becomes useful when you can understand the evidence, the assumptions and the risks behind it.

My approach

You should be able to follow the reasoning.

Business fundamentals, market behaviour and risk belong in the same conversation. So do the things we still don’t know.

01

Explain the evidence

Connect the business, its financials and the market’s expectations. Make the assumptions visible.

02

Respect the downside

Ask what can go wrong and how much risk a decision carries before focusing on what it might earn.

03

Keep the context

A research view and a household financial decision answer different questions. Goals, time horizons and risk matter.

04

Stay willing to revise

A changed business, a changed price or new evidence can require a changed conclusion.

The bridge between reported profit and actual cash often lies in working capital, and most investors barely check it.

Beyond markets

Mountains, patience and perspective.

Outside the markets, I spend time trekking and photographing nature. I completed the Basic Mountaineering Course (BMC) from NIMAS and regularly explore the Himalayan landscape.

The mountains keep a few lessons close: prepare carefully, respect the conditions, and be willing to change the plan. Patience and judgment matter there, too.
